August de Wever (1836-1910) - a beautifully executed bronze sculpture of a young woman with pigeon - Belgium - second half of the 19th century.
Very nice presentation by August de Wever, a piece that will rarely be available on the market.
Signed on the side.
The image is of a very good and detailed quality and
has the original patina.
The beak of the pigeon is somewhat blunt, but otherwise there are no remarks.
Material is bronze.
Height 43 cm, weight 6 kg.
Is on a (probably more recent) marble pedestal.
